MORITZ VON HAMMERSTEIN
Moritz studierte Geographie, Islamwissenschaft und Politikwissenschaft und schrieb seine Diplomarbeit über syrische Arbeitsmigration in den Libanon. Nach seinem Studium arbeitete er an der Universität Mainz und am Orient-Institut Beirut. Er forschte u.a. in Marokko, Libanon, Palästina/ Israel und Kirgistan zu den Themen Flucht/ Migration und Transformation von (Alt-)Städten. Seit 2015 berät er Asylsuchende und Flüchtlinge in Neuruppin.

MIRIAM
Dr. Miriam Stock is a Berlin-based human geographer working in the field of migration, gender and urban spaces. She wrote her diploma dissertation about women and public spaces in Tunis in 2007 and completed her PhD in 2013 on Arab migration and gentrification to Berlin. She has worked and lived in Germany, Lebanon and Tunisia, speaks English, French and Arabic and is a trainer in conflict and democratic participation. Miriam was one of the main project coordinators of Blasti – C’est ma place in Tunisia 2013.

BEATRICE
has several years’ experience in the fields of humanitarian assistance, communication and protection for different international organizations in Switzerland, Darfur and the Middle East, currently as Senior Program Manager for the Emergency Response to the Syria crisis for Caritas Switzerland. Beatrice holds a diploma in Business Administration, a degree in Translation and Cultural Studies as well as a Master’s degree in International Humanitarian Assistance. In 2010, Beatrice was one of the main project coordinators of the Beyond Orientalism – Realities of young women in the Arab world project.
